What do you do when the pumpkin patch you swore was open actually isn’t yet. BUT, you still need to get your daughter and nephew’s Mickey and Minnie Mouse Halloween photoshoot done?
You hire the most fabulous professional photographer you know, Sweet Memories Photography, and have her take you pumpkin and gourd shopping at the market down the street. 🙂
The red barn and brick make it look like autumn, right? #dailybocaavery and her cousin Aden improvised Florida fall like a boss at Cason United Methodist Church in Delray (which actually does have an amazing pumpkin patch in mid-to-late October).
I was excited to continue our Halloween photoshoot tradition after last year’s rainy, but awesome session at Bedner’s. And this year, we were able to add Avery’s adorable baby cousin to the mix! How cute are they in this Mickey and Minnie Mouse Halloween photoshoot?

Avery decided she wanted to be Minnie Mouse (buy her costume on Amazon HERE) for Halloween this year after hearing that her cousin was planning to be Mickey (buy his costume on Amazon HERE). They’ll only agree to be matchy matchy for so long, right?
Props are key in any children’s photoshoot. That’s why I spent $34 on pumpkins and gourds, mamas. At least I can add them to our home’s fall decor!
If your child loves playing dress-up as much as mine does, you know how cute these photos can turn out. I see them as a time capsule…and a way to keep the grandparents off your back until you take your family holiday photos. 😉
