Founder, Michelle Olson-Rogers, is an award-winning local mom blogger who loves the City of Boca Raton, theme parks, cruising, all-inclusive resorts and women in business. A South Florida native, Michelle attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL. After graduating with a BA in communication, she moved to New York City and worked for several years in beauty marketing and public relations. Once Michelle had her daughter Avery in 2013, she flew south with her Maine husband Andrew and now calls Boca Raton (aka the sixth borough) home.

Michelle took her background in PR and marketing and launched the Modern Boca Mom blog in 2014. She also took on the position of Director of Communications and Community Outreach at Grandview Preparatory School after founding their successful “Modern Boca Mommy & Me” program that same year.

In her rare spare time, Michelle loves to travel to family-friendly domestic and international destinations. She also stays healthy by teaching POUND. ROCKOUT. WORKOUT classes at Organic Movements in east Boca Raton.

At home in Boca, you’ll usually find Michelle at the movies with #modernbocadad and her 10 year-old daughter (yes, she’s an only child), #dailybocaavery, binge watching Netflix or attending a community or networking event focused on women/moms in business.
