As you know, I’m always looking for the newest, coolest places to host birthday parties. And coolest means both awesome AND with air-conditioning, especially during the summer months! When it comes to South Florida birthday party venues, this one has both and I couldn’t wait to share it with you all.
South Florida Birthday Party Venues: Our Pick, Dezerland Park
There’s been some buzz recently about a place in North Miami called Dezerland Park. The entire space was converted into a huge indoor theme park! And when I say huge, I mean 250,000 square feet HUGE!
There is already a Trampoline Park, an elevated ropes course, and Ninja Obstacle courses (like the show, American Ninja Warrior). They even have a mini version for little ones! (And there is so much more to come. It seems like every week, there is a new addition! Paint Ball, Indoor Sky Diving, Kart Racing, Mini Golf and more will join over the next few months!)
Just recently, they opened their brand new Arcade. It has EVERYTHING. They also have brand new games that are hard to find anywhere else like Cruisin Blast, Walking Dead, Jurassic Park, Space Invaders, Crossy Road and Piano Keys. If these mean nothing to you, don’t worry. Because it will to the kiddos! Fans of arcades such as Boomer’s and Dave & Busters are going to be blown away. And, they’re adding new stuff all the time!
Dezerland Park Birthday Party Packages
Dezerland Park has tons of different birthday party packages, or you can create your own and customize with add-ons. I’m excited because sometimes not every little one likes certain birthday party themes or places. But there is so much to do in this park, it’s almost impossible for a kid not to have fun! Even better, all the running, jumping, climbing and bouncing is sure to tire them out. Which means early bedtime = early glass of wine!
During the last 45 minutes of each event, you will have your own party room where you can serve food, drinks and cake. All packages include pizza and refreshments, plates and napkins (yes!!!). You may order your cake through the Dezerland Park team or bring your own. But, there’s a fee to bring one, so why not just order it from them? Keep it simple, right?
