Let’s be honest. Our fair city is known for its NYC imports. Shake Shack, Junior’s Cheesecake (soon!), Flywheel… Now, you’ll find the popular Manhattan-based music program for children here: songs for seeds Boca Raton!
Founded in 2009 by the owners of apple seeds, NYC’s award-winning play space for children, songs for seeds features 45-minute classes led by a three-piece live band of musicians who encourage kids to sing, play instruments, and dance.
Local parents to two young boys, Tarah & Jordan Meyers, are the ones bringing this beloved music program to Boca Raton. When they lived in NYC, Meyers sent her two children to songs for seeds classes and LOVED them. Since moving to Florida, they have worked tirelessly to bring the educational and fun program here.
Meyers says, “There’s simply nothing like it.”
songs for seeds Boca Raton: What It’s About
Each week the children experience music, instruments and language from a different culture. Magnetic art murals are created by the children during a rocked out sing-along to well-known nursery rhymes, silly magic tricks are used to practice numbers and counting and a wheel is spun to reinforce the names and sounds of animals. By mixing original kids rock ‘n’ roll songs with adult contemporary music, the band is sure to please little ones (and their parents!).
And, everyone gets a FREE trial class.

Addressing the elephant on the blog: Yes, we are very sad that our former flagship music program, Musikgarten by the Beach, is shutting down in Boca Raton. But, we are also happy that Miss Diana is relocating to Miami with her family for a new position. Modern Boca Mom wishes them all the best! We are excited to now partner with songs for seeds, a new musical option for your family!
