A little update on Milly since we last featured her in 2015…
Milly Taylor is lovely.
She not only has a background in Sales/Marketing in the Hospitality Industry, but in the Administration & Operations of an Assisted Living & Retirement Community. And, since joining Keyes Real Estate in 2011: Milly has ranked in the Top 10 among 2,600 agents. She is also recipient of the Keyes President’s Council Award and the Keyes Circle of Excellence Award.
Impressive Milly! Tell us about yourself and a bit more about your professional background and Milly Taylor Realty…
I was born in the Dominican Republic, raised in New York City and speak fluent Spanish. Now, I have lived in South Florida for more than twenty years.
My career began in real estate over 14 years ago because I felt there was a need to enhance customer service in this profession. Since my background was in the Hospitality industry, I knew that offering a sincere, liable, trustworthy service would be my forte. I wanted to make this field more “personable”.
What, as a Realtor, makes you different from the rest?
What makes my business unique is there are 6 “niches” that I cater to:
- Firefighters
- Veterans- Military
- Police Officers
- Spanish speaking buyers/sellers
- Seniors
- Relocations
- Buyers and Sellers
All of these markets hold a special place in my heart. First, because my two sons, Andy & Fred, are both Firefighters. Fred with Orange County and Andy with Palm Beach County. Secondly, my stepson Jason is a Palm Beach County Sheriff.
Lastly, my daughter Cristina is the Director of Dental Research at Nova University. She relocated to South Florida from the Dominican Republic. Andy also served in the Military for 5 years, so I understand how stressful it can be being away from family and moving into an area where everything is new.
My specialty lies in assisting our brave men & women who have served this country and continue to do so every day in every part of our Nation. Vets, Firefighters and Police Officers…I go above & beyond to serve these clients.
That is remarkable. Well done. Tell us a little bit more about your other niches…
Because of my background in Senior Living, I’ve created a “Senior Program” within our company. This program caters to seniors who are downsizing and moving to a more supervised environment. Most often than not, their adult children live out of state.
We become an extension of their family and oversee everything from packing, coordinating the move, listing their current home, coordinating repairs, cleaning, etc. And most importantly, maintaining a strict line of communication between the adult child, the community where the parent is moving to and attorneys who may be involved. We consider ourselves the piece of the puzzle holding everything together. Our goal is to make this transition a smooth and stress-free move.
Another of my passions are Relocation families.
Having relocated many times myself, I understand the complexities of moving to a new area. It is very exciting, but can also be stressful with so much to do in a relatively short period of time.
I’m aware of the concerns relocations have i.e. selling their current home, buying a new home, finding new schools and coordinating the move. I take my responsibility with families relocating very seriously. Understandably, they are depending on me to show them homes with good value, near great schools, and in great neighborhoods.
My services also include: where to get your license and vehicle tag transferred, explaining about our Homestead Exemption, where to shop, where to dine, extracurricular activities for children and so much more!
Recently, i’ve been working with buyers and sellers anywhere from Boca to Tequesta, anywhere in the State of Florida, and anywhere around the Globe! We can place any buyer and seller in the hands of an experienced, savvy Realtor anywhere around the Globe.
Clients know that I will take care of everything, no matter how complex or trivial. My success is a direct result of my extensive experience, knowledge of the local market, and my willingness to go that extra mile. What do you love most about living in South Florida?
I’ve lived in South Florida for over 20 years. I love the friendliness of the people, the open areas, the beaches….and yes of course, the climate!
