Tell us about your background and why you decided to start your business…
Hi! I’m Jade Maddren and I’m originally from the beautiful island of Jamaica, but I’m proud to call Boca Raton my home. Most likely influenced by my Caribbean upbringing, I’ve always had a passion for natural products, beauty, and entrepreneurship. I suppose it was only a matter of time before Love By Jade was created as it’s the perfect marriage of beauty, wellness, and entrepreneurship.
It’s actually a funny story how Love By Jade came to be. I was pregnant with my first child, Lily, and I was really concerned about how the pregnancy would affect my body. I used to struggle with my weight and after successfully getting it under control, I had stretchmarks from the fluctuations. So naturally when I thought about how my body would change and be under so much stress during the pregnancy, I got worried. I searched the market for products that could help with the stretchmarks, itchiness and discomfort that often accompanies our growing bundles of joy.
“Unfortunately, all of the products I found were either ineffective or loaded with harmful chemicals and ingredients. I was floored to see the options pregnant women had to choose from. So, I got to work researching and creating a product for myself. After dozens of trials, I was able to create the perfect blend of all natural ingredients to provide the best results.”
After all, for everything we do, us moms deserve the best! Friends and neighbors of mine saw my results and began asking for batches and that’s how Love By Jade was created.
What’s truly unique about Love by Jade?
Love By Jade is unique in many ways. For one, each product is lovingly handmade from all-natural, vegan and cruelty-free ingredients. Also, we believe that a lot of products in the beauty industry solely focus on altering a woman’s appearance and equating that to her being beautiful. We encourage all women who use our products whether it’s for acne scars, stretchmarks or just overall skin health to first acknowledge the beauty they have within–and to speak positively about themselves! That’s why we’ve included affirmations like “I am Radiant” on our product labels.
Too often we think negatively about ourselves, speaking things we would never dare say to another. Love By Jade is about more than just loving your skin. It’s about loving you. Period. That’s also why I began a series on my Instagram called Self Love By Jade with tips on loving yourself more.

What do you love most about living and working in South Florida?
What isn’t there to love about living and working in South Florida? The weather is almost always beach ready, we have an incredible variety of restaurants and there’s so much opportunity available. That said, one of my favorite parts of South Florida has to be the people. We may not have the best drivers in the country (LOL), but I believe some the best people are right here! We have such a diverse population and with so many people bringing their experiences and cultures to the table, it creates an amazing and perfect blend when we come together.
