Tell us a little about your background…
Hello, I’m Beixi Li (pronounced like “beige-y”!), founder of Pelvic Health Solutions, Florida’s leading private practice specializing in pelvic floor health. While I’m not a mom myself (yet!), much of my work is driven by the incredible strength, resilience, and balancing act I see so many mothers handle every day.
Through my practice, I’ve witnessed firsthand how transformative it can be when individuals (especially women) finally receive the care, answers, and confidence they deserve. Women often end up last on their to-do list, but when they put their pelvic health first, it changes everything. Our mission at Pelvic Health Solutions is to restore strength, comfort, and control for people at every stage of life. Watching women reclaim their health, confidence, and joy is what motivates me every single day.
How did Pelvic Health Solutions Florida get started?
The need for pelvic health care is often hidden in plain sight. Whenever I talk to people about pelvic floor health, there are usually two types of reactions: either people haven’t experienced pelvic floor issues yet, or they have and they had no idea that help existed.
For those who have experienced pelvic symptoms, the most common reaction is a mix of surprise and frustration: “I had no idea pelvic floor physical therapy existed. Why isn’t anyone talking about this??”
The reality is that pelvic floor disorders affect 1 in 3 women and at least 1 in 10 men, yet many have no idea that help is available. Sadly, most people are told their symptoms are “normal” after childbirth, aging, or surgery. The truth is, many people suffer in silence, feeling isolated because of the sensitive, private nature of pelvic health concerns. Our goal at Pelvic Health Solutions Florida is to spread the message that just because something is common, doesn’t make it normal and, more importantly, you’re not alone.
