Tell us a little about your background and why you decided to start Blissful Baby Services Boca Raton…
Hi! I’m Jennifer Shapiro German, Founder & President of Blissful Baby Services, where we offer In Home Newborn Care and Pediatric Sleep Consulting. I began my career as a sole proprietor and due to high demand, knew we had to expand to offer more families a “blissful” postpartum experience. We launched in 2010 (so we have years of experience!) and have been creating structure and peace within the home so that families can enjoy the ultimate freedom of knowing that you will be cared for by our team of experts.

What challenges did you face early on with your business?
Just like starting your own business can be challenging, so is the start of becoming new mothers and fathers! The postpartum period can often feel lonely and scary while recovering from delivery. Moms are “expected” to take care of themselves while looking after their precious newborn baby. Times have changed and we may not be living as close to family as we would like which results in lack of support and having that “village”…a singular experience if you will. We have to do better as far as providing postpartum support to new parents. I took my passion for newborns and new moms and dads along with my background in education and birthed “Blissful Baby Services.”
Community and connection is of the utmost importance to us and we welcome the opportunity to support new parents while you connect with other moms and providers such as certified lactation consultants and more. Everyone knows at least one person that will or is having a baby soon and this is the perfect support for them during those hardest times raising a child as a newborn and recovering from childbirth.

What’s unique about our program is that we are a boutique style agency with a small team allowing us to provide personalized attention to our clientele while providing the highest quality of care. We understand the importance of offering our Sleep Services “in home” and that’s when we introduced our White Glove Sleep Transformation Program. We remove all the chaos and confusion when it comes to sleep. After 3 days, your baby will be predictable napping and sleeping 11-12 hours nightly. How exciting is that?!
We understand that no two families or babies are alike and we take great pride in knowing that we will take the time to carefully address and assess all issues that you may be experiencing. We will work together to create and utilize one of our proven sleep methods that works for you and that is in alignment with your parenting philosophies. What do you love about working and living in South Florida?
As a native Floridian, I feel so grateful to be able to live and work in South Florida! We sure do live in paradise and I have met some of the most amazing people over the years and love the diversity. When I’m not working, you will find me spending time with my family, dogs, playing tennis, on the beach, riding a jet ski, traveling, or giving back to my community.
