If you’re hearing about #grandviewmoms Mommy and Me classes in Boca for the first time, here’s some background:
First of all, the program is 10 YEARS OLD as of September 2024! We are so excited to offer a BLOWOUT celebratory session featuring some amazing local partners. Keep reading to find out what we’re going to be up to this fall…
Each “Modern Boca Mommy & Me” class (Dads and caregivers are also welcome!) is held weekly at Grandview Preparatory School and is specifically tailored to capture the attention and imaginations of children in two age groups:
Babies- 8+ Weeks to Walkers
Toddlers- Confident Walkers to Age 3
Classes during the school year include a rotating schedule of activities including yoga, movement and music– all offered by top notch Grandview Preparatory School community partners! And we have even more fun things on the calendar for our special 10th Anniversary celebratory session.
Our program offers moms the chance to have their children learn and explore in a professional educational setting. How great is that?!
Don’t know much about Grandview Preparatory School? They are an independent college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in 1997 in east Boca Raton. Student enrollment is offered for Preschool (age 3) through Grade 12.
Grandview is a small, diverse community committed to the philosophy that education is a personal endeavor. Grandview pairs timeless ethics with modern thought and personal attention with global consciousness while preparing students for college and life beyond.
COST:
- FALL BABIES Class Passes (8 Weeks-Walkers) are $325 for 9 weeks of classes (No drop-ins; No make-ups)
- FALL TODDLERS Class Passes (Strong Walkers-Age 3) are $375 for 9 weeks of classes (No drop-ins; No make-ups)

SEPTEMBER (9:30AM-10:15AM):
- 9/4 BABIES – Pajama-themed Musikgarten class with Miss Jessica of Musikgarten & More Boca held at our outdoor classroom (Babies are invited to wear their cutest jammies!)
- 9/11 BABIES – Messy Splash Art with ArtNest in Grandview’s outdoor classroom (wear something that can get paint all over it); Rain date 9/12 will be determined 24 hours in advance and attendees will be notified via email
- 9/18 BABIES – Musikgarten class with Miss Jessica of Musikgarten & More Boca held at our outdoor classroom
- 9/25 BABIES – “It’s Fall y’all”-themed Musikgarten class with Miss Jessica of Musikgarten & More Boca held at our outdoor classroom (Wear your favorite fall outfits!)
OCTOBER (9:30AM-10:15AM):
- 10/2 BABIES – Musikgarten class with Miss Jessica of Musikgarten & More Boca held at our outdoor classroom
- 10/9 BABIES – Barbie-themed Musikgarten class with Miss Jessica of Musikgarten & More Boca held at our outdoor classroom (on this day, we wear PINK!)
- 10/16 BABIES – Musikgarten class with Miss Jessica of Musikgarten & More Boca held at our outdoor classroom
- 10/23 BABIES – Music with “Miss Rachel!” class held at our outdoor classroom (We will be having a Miss Rachel entertainer visit us with songs and age-appropriate games from Isn’t It Mermazing, LLC!)
- 10/30 BABIES – Halloween-themed Musikgarten class and Family Parade with Miss Jessica of Musikgarten & More Boca held at our outdoor classroom (come in your Halloween costumes!)

- 10/9 TODDLERS– Barbie-themed Musikgarten class with Miss Jessica of Musikgarten & More Boca held at our outdoor classroom (on this day, we wear PINK!)
- 10/16 TODDLERS– Yoga/Movement class with Miss Tania held at our outdoor classroom

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Music & Movement for Babies (NEW! Themed Classes)
Enjoy this Kindermusik-inspired class designed specifically for babies with Miss Jessica, teacher and founder of Musikgarten & More Boca, LLC. Miss Jessica will lead you and your child in songs and introduce them to rhythm using developmentally-appropriate instruments, props and their bodies.
Music & Movement for Toddlers (NEW! Themed Classes)
Enjoy Musikgarten and more with Miss Jessica, who will lead you and your child in songs and introduce them to rhythm using developmentally-appropriate instruments, props and their bodies.
Sing with “Miss Rachel!”
Enjoy a Miss Rachel character entertainment experience with themed music and age-appropriate games for babies and toddlers.
Messy Art for Babies and Toddlers
In partnership with ArtNest, this class encourages your toddlers and babies to get creative…and MESSY! Don’t worry, all of the paint washes off, but you’ve never seen a splash party like this before. Dress for a mess!
“Mommy & Me Yoga” for Toddlers*
With yoga as the foundation, this class will be filled with music and movement, games, and relaxation. We’ll bark in downward dog, moo in cow, and flutter our wings in butterfly, while we take a yoga journey that your child will never forget with our certified yoga teacher, Miss Tania!
*Please note: the “Mommy & Me Yoga” classes are only for toddlers who are walking confidently on their own.
Sensory Play for Toddlers
In partnership with The Bunny Hive Delray Beach, their Sensory II class provides opportunities for little ones to explore all five senses in a fun, “bunny led” yet structured environment. Each class will incorporate a seasonal theme using organic materials.
