2024 4th of July Events in South Florida

City of Boca Raton Independence Day Celebration

DATE: Thursday, July 4th

TIME:  Event 7:00 p.m. Fireworks @ 9:10 p.m.

LOCATION: Countess de Hoernle Park, 1000 Spanish River Blvd. 

It’s a FREE celebration along the water in Countess de Hoernle Park at the Fabulous Finale featuring live music and a 20-minute fireworks spectacular presented by the City of Boca Raton and the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District.

• Live music
• Food trucks and vendors (for purchase)
• Spectacular fireworks show at 9:10pm

Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District Stage

• 7:15pm – Opening Act
• 8:05pm – The Samantha Russell Band(high-energy rock and pop band)

FREE parking will be available nearby at the BRIC. Pets, coolers, sparklers/fireworks, and alcohol are not permitted on site.

West Boca Raton Independence Day Celebration

TIME:  Fireworks @ 9:00 p.m.

LOCATION: 20405 Amphitheater Circle, Boca Raton

Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation in partnership with The West Boca Community Council Presents The 14th Annual July 4th Celebration at Sunset Cove Amphitheater in Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park. The event features a free concert with party band, Big Vince & The Phat Cats, activities, food and beverage concessions on site.

Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. FREE ADMISSION

Delray Beach’s 4th of July Celebration

The City of Delray Beach is excited to be hosting the 4th of July Celebration again for 2024!  It’s been a family-friendly event for over 50 years and draws over 20,000 people to our Village by the Sea. 

The event starts at 6:00 p.m. with a 60’ flag raising ceremony, with an honor guard and the singing of the National Anthem. This celebration has something for everyone –food trucks and vendors, children’s activities and games, non-stop entertainment with DJ Big Smile, DJ SoNyce, DJ DDubbs, DJ Jones Drew, and live music from The Resolvers, and so much more!

The spectacular Zambelli Fireworks will start promptly at 9:00 p.m. The City of Delray Beach 4th of July Celebration will take place on East Atlantic Avenue from the Intracoastal Bridge to A1A.

Boynton Beach 4th of July Festivities

Lantana Independence Day Celebration

4th on Flagler in West Palm Beach

TIME: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. 

LOCATION: Along Flagler Drive between Banyan Blvd. and Fern St. in West Palm Beach

The most anticipated event of the summer season is 4th on Flagler, the City of West Palm Beach’s annual Fourth of July celebration. The event is South Florida’s largest free outdoor Independence Day celebration, featuring an 18-minute fireworks show over the Intracoastal Waterway.

Mayor James will give remarks from the NewDay USA Stage during the Military Honor Ceremony, which will include a live performance of the National Anthem, a Military Honor Salute, and the presentation of the annual Hometown Hero Award. 

The event features three stages of music, a kids’ entertainment zone, Florida Power & Light Strolling Entertainers, including stilt walkers, food and refreshments for purchase, and an 18-minute fireworks display. Additionally, 4th on Flagler will be the start and end point for the annual Bill Bone 5K.  Fireworks ignite around 9 p.m.

Lauderdale-By-The-Sea 4th of July Celebration

TIME: 10:00 a.m. Parade -Family Events – 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Fireworks 9-9:20 p.m.

LOCATION: El Prado Park @ 4500 El Mar Drive, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea

The Town’s Fourth of July Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. followed by Family Fun Day in El Prado Park from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. To volunteer, participate in the parade, or donate to our festivities, call the Volunteer Fire Department at (954) 640-4250 or visit the website here.
