Today’s featured Modern Boca MOMpreneur is Ramy Brook Sharp, Creator of Ramy Brook Women’s Designer Clothing.
Tell us a little about your background and why you decided to start Ramy Brook…
Hi! I’m Ramy Brook Sharp, owner and creator of Ramy Brook, a women’s designer clothing line. I began my career working in advertising, which I loved! It was a very young, vibrant industry and incredibly social. Most of my days were spent meeting with magazines who were seeking our advertising dollars. I learned quite a bit about all the different publications and met tons of great people. I was able to really hone my people skills, which is something that I have taken with me throughout all my professional experiences.
I started Ramy Brook back in 2010 (my kids were 5, 7 and 10- wow! Time sure does fly!) when I couldn’t find the perfect, sexy top to wear with my collection of jeans and jewelry. I was looking for high-end designer quality at a contemporary price point – so I decided to learn how to make my own! I knew that if I felt this void in the marketplace, other women did as well. We launched Ramy Brook out of my Upper East Side apartment with six tops and one sexy dress and now, here we are with a full collection!
What exciting things are coming up for your business?
We have some exciting things on the horizon for our brand! First off, we’re absolutely thrilled to announce our upcoming collaboration with PJ Salvage, set to launch on April 17th (2024). Get ready for a fusion of our signature style with PJ Salvage’s cozy-chic vibe—it’s going to be fantastic! We’ve been busy behind the scenes shooting some truly amazing campaigns.
Recently, we had the honor of working with the incredible Martha Hunt, bringing her unique energy and style to life in our latest campaign. And that’s not all—we’ve also ventured to the vibrant city of Lisbon for another unforgettable Summer campaign shoot. Stay tuned for the launch of the summer 2024 collection at the end of the month!
In addition to our exciting collaborations and campaigns, we’re thrilled to launch our upcoming Fall 2024 collection. There are some truly amazing denim pieces and special new jewelry. Our September delivery is heavily inspired by Western glam.

What do you love about South Florida?
Even though I live in NYC, I find myself drawn to the energy of Florida, and my team and I make it a point to visit multiple times a year. These trips are opportunities for photoshoots, influencer events, and catching up with friends who call South Florida home. One of my favorite aspects of South Florida is the stunning beaches, which perfectly complement the colorful aesthetic of my line.
When I was younger, my family would often visit my grandparents in West Palm Beach. However, we always found the vibrant scene in Boca Raton more appealing, so we’d make trips there instead, often ending up at Tequila Willies! RIP.
