Tell us a little about your background and why you decided to start a Mathnasium near me in Delray Beach…
Hi! I’m Typhani Ali, owner of Mathnasium of Delray Beach. Math has long been regarded as a daunting subject for many children, but I opened my business because I wanted to change that narrative. With a passion for helping others and a love for mathematics, I’ve embarked on a mission to create a nurturing environment where kids can thrive in their math skills while having fun.
What challenges did you face early on?
Being a mom and owning my own business has been very challenging. My biggest inspiration is my own children. My daughters, aged 2 and 7, are my driving force, motivating me to help every child reach their full potential. Witnessing my kids’ eagerness to learn fuels my mission to provide similar experiences for other children.
What is unique about your services and why should our Modern Boca Mom readers become your clients?
At Mathnasium of Delray Beach, I lead a team that transforms how kids perceive and engage with mathematics. This math-only learning center caters to students from kindergarten to high school, offering customized learning plans designed to help them catch up, keep up, and surpass their current grade level.
My journey into the world of math tutoring spans 14 years, fueled by my passion for both math and working with children. My philosophy is to make math fun. The center focuses not only on teaching math concepts but also on making the learning experience enjoyable. In sessions, children engage in games reinforcing these concepts, creating a positive association with math.
I highly encourage families in the Delray Beach community to visit for a FREE math assessment for their child while treating themselves to coffee at the nearby Starbucks. It’s an opportunity for parents to understand their child’s strengths and areas for improvement.
