Sewing Classes in Boca for Kids at Petite Designers
Located in Royal Palm Place in East Boca or off of 441 in Parkland, Petite Designers teaches its students how to sew clothes, work with patterns, and create unique designs. The program is actually great for beginners as well as more experienced sewers.
Students move from lower, beginner levels to more advanced ones as they master their sewing skills and gain practice in sketching and fashion design. However, even if they are starting at Level 1, the students are able to create beautiful clothes. Projects become more and more complex as they move up.
How does it work?
During this after-school enrichment program, kids will work in small groups guided by an instructor who helps each student with their individual projects. Every student has a personal sewing station and works at his/her own pace while advancing in the curriculum.
Petite Designers has created a safe environment for kids and staff. Students are encouraged to follow all rules to make each class enjoyable as well as safe for everyone.
Safety measures include:
- Regularly sanitizing of hands, tools and equipment
In addition, Petite Designers’ warm and friendly environment helps kids to boost their self-esteem, explore their talents and improve social skills that will last a lifetime.
