2021 4th of July Events in South Florida
West Boca 4th of July Drive-In Celebration
TIME: Fireworks @ 9:00 p.m.
The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department and The West Boca Community Council will host a 4th of July Drive-in Fireworks Display at Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park in Boca Raton.
Overflow parking lots adjacent to Sunset Cove Amphitheater will open at 7:00 p.m. to allow attendees to park their vehicles for viewing. Designated viewing parking lot spaces are limited. Regional Park Drive will be partially closed to incoming traffic from Glades Road to Park Access Road at 8:30 p.m. Access to designated viewing parking lots will be unavailable following the road closure. The event is rain or shine.

Delray Beach’s July 4th Celebration
- Two locations within the City of Delray Beach
The Delray Beach Fireworks, sponsored by Zambelli Fireworks, will be held July 4th from two undisclosed locations in the City of Delray Beach. The magic will be brilliant! Look up in the sky at 9:00 p.m. and enjoy the show!

July 4th Sand Sculpting Contest- Delray Beach
July 4, 2021 – 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Delray Beach (Atlantic Avenue and A1A)
Join the city of Delray Beach behind the Pavilion for the Sand Sculpting Contest off of Atlantic Avenue and A1A for a physically distanced sand sculpting contest.
- There will be two categories for adults and the other for children.
- Both categories will create a sand sculpture to the best of their ability for the chance to win an award.
- Registration is free, required in advance, and is open to everyone.
- Participants must bring their own tools.

The Independence Day celebration is a Delray Beach tradition, but it will look a little different this year due to COVID-19. The City of Delray Beach is offering a fun, family event at one of the area’s largest parks to celebrate the day.

Boynton Beach 4th of July Festivities
DATE: Sunday, July 4th
TIME: 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
The city will host a July 4th celebration complete with live music, food trucks, shuttle transportation and one of the largest Zambelli fireworks displays in Palm Beach County.
This free, family-friendly event will take place at Intracoastal Park (2240 N. Federal Hwy.) The celebration will include a spectacular water show by Palm Beach Hydroflight. Athletes will surf the skies on water-propelled Jet boards, defying gravity with mind-blowing maneuvers done up to 50 feet in the air.
Various food trucks including Troy’s BBQ, Guaca Go, Kona Ice, Little Moir’s and Boardwalk Italian Ice & Creamery will be serving up delicious food and beverages available for purchase. The event will culminate at 9:00 p.m. with a dazzling twenty-minute Zambelli fireworks display, synchronized to patriotic music, overlooking the Intracoastal. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.
Parking is limited at Intracoastal Park. Beginning at 5:30 pm, complimentary shuttles will operate from three convenient locations to transport guests to the event. For more information visit HERE!

4th on Flagler will return with adjustments in place due to the pandemic. Fans of the fireworks extravaganza can expect:
- Roving entertainment
- Food and drinks available for purchase
- Live music on the NewDay USA Stage located on the Palm Stage
- A DJ stage on the south end at Post Park
- Athemed show at the Centennial Fountain
Fireworks will ignite at 9:09 p.m. over the Intracoastal Waterway. Those who prefer to watch the show from the comfort of their home can tune in to a live broadcast of a special show, WPBF 25: 4TH ON FLAGLER LIVE FIREWORKS.
Parking is available in City garages, and the Banyan and Evernia garages are the closest to the event.
Additionally, Supercar Week will host “Drive in 4th,” an all makes and models mini car show along Flagler Drive. The vehicles will be laid out like a drive-in movie theater where all cars will be double-spaced for social distancing.
For anyone who wants to start their celebration early, the Bill Bone 5K will “run to the fun.” The family-friendly run begins at Osprey Park at 6:30 p.m. and finishes adjacent to the north end of the 4th on Flagler site.

Before the sunset brings fireworks to a neighborhood near you, the Science Center will offer its own version of daytime explosions and all-American activities celebrating our nation’s birthday on Sunday, July 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors will find patriotic hands-on crafts; a live fire jug demo; liquid Nitrogen explosions; mini golf included with admission and more.
