Well, I’m almost a month late in writing this post, but my excuse is: #itsgonnabemay. It’s truly the craziest month of the year. Yikes. But my baby girl turned 5 years old on the first of this month! I can’t believe it. It feels just yesterday that I was writing about planning #dailybocaavery’s 1st birthday party on this brand spankin new blog and stressing about themes and food and all that jazz. This year, we took it easy on ourselves (I think?) and decided to plan a trip to NYC in lieu of a birthday party. We had a great time in the city seeing Broadway shows and the sites. However, I wanted to do something local to commemorate the big 0-5! So, I enlisted the help of Naomi Phelps from Sweet Memories Photography and scheduled a little balloon photoshoot in Mizner Park on the eve of Avery’s 5th birthday.
