22nd Annual Bank of America Wine, Spirits and Culinary Celebration at MODS

The Museum of Discovery and Science will host the 22nd Annual Bank of America Wine, Spirits and Culinary Celebration on Friday, April 7, 2017. The Grand Tasting will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and highlight over 40 South Florida premier restaurants, an array of wine and spirits, assortment of craft beers and a silent auction. The Platinum experience includes exclusive access to the Platinum Lounge and early access at 5:30 p.m. to the Grand Tasting. Platinum Tickets are $250. Grand Tasting Tickets are $150. All proceeds of the event benefit the Museum.

This is the 31st annual engineering design competition jointly presented to all students by the Florida Engineering Society & the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium. $5,000 in cash and prizes awarded to winners in elementary, middle and high school categories! Special prize for the school with the most participants. Participants must pre-register.

Our Body: The Universe Within at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium

COST: Admission to the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium during Our Body: The Universe Within is $16.95 for adults, $12.95 for children ages 3 to 12 and $14.95 for seniors aged 60 and older.  Science Center members and children under 3 are free.

Our Body: The Universe Within, the Science Center’s seasonal blockbuster exhibition is open to the public! Appropriate for all ages, Our Body literally goes “under the skin” to reveal the mysteries of human anatomy.  Visitors will tour three-dimensional human bodies, specimens and organs, which were preserved using a process known as polymer impregnation.
