Nights at the Museum “Sports Science”

DATE: March 31st

TIME: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

COST: $13.95 for adults, $11.95 for seniors, $9.95 for children (3-12), FREE for children under 3, $6 for adult members and free for child members.

Nights at the Museum – “Sports Science!” On the last Friday of each month, guests of all ages can enjoy extended hours of exploration at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium. Each Night at the Museum is a different theme, which includes various interactive science crafts, activities, entertainment, exhibits, planetarium shows, and a chance to view the night sky in Palm Beach County’s only public observatory!

Food and beverage from Wholesome Tummies Cafe will be available for purchase throughout the evening. This month’s event includes a hockey-physics lab, interactive sports demonstrations, exploration of the blockbuster traveling exhibit “Our Body: The Universe Within”, Girl Scout Badges and more!

The Easter Bunny at the Gardens Mall

TIME5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.


The free holiday event gives kids of all ages a chance to mix, mingle, and mug for the camera as they get their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny and his fabulous friends, including butterfly stilt walkers, jugglers, magicians, a DJ, and more.

Kids will receive Easter baskets to fill up with candy, while adults and parents will enjoy the ultimate “hoppy hour” with Easter-themed cocktails!

This popular event will take place at on Saturday’s at 10:30 a.m. at the Zoo’s Conservation Station by the Safari Train and the Wildlife Carousel. Story Time at the Zoo is geared towards encouraging children to connect with wildlife through reading, and it is included in the cost of Zoo admission.

Hop, Skip & Jump-a-Thon at Sunflower Creative Arts

Hop to it, Sunflower friends! It’s that time of year again. Join Sunday, April 2, 9:30 am, for a crazy playful walkathon at John Prince Park.

This event is open to families of all ages and abilities, as well as strollers. The walkathon path will include hopscotch, music making, walking like your favorite animal, and much more!

Our Body: The Universe Within at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium


DATE: Through April 23rd

TIME: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.*

COST: Admission to the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium during Our Body: The Universe Within is $16.95 for adults, $12.95 for children ages 3 to 12 and $14.95 for seniors aged 60 and older.  Science Center members and children under 3 are free.

Our Body: The Universe Within, the Science Center’s seasonal blockbuster exhibition is open to the public! Appropriate for all ages, Our Body literally goes “under the skin” to reveal the mysteries of human anatomy.  Visitors will tour three-dimensional human bodies, specimens and organs, which were preserved using a process known as polymer impregnation.
