Ha- me neither!
And that’s why (when I do manage to schedule some valuable ‘me-time’) I try to maximize it accordingly.
Before motherhood, I rarely spent my free time doing things like “taking a day at the spa,” but by God if I haven’t earned that day (or precious few hours) by the time I’m able to nail it on the iPhone calendar now!

When I was pregnant with #dailybabyavery in NYC, I was thrilled to discover (what I nicknamed) the “Disney World of Maternity,” located conveniently on 57th Street and Madison Avenue (4/19/16 UPDATE: It is now closed, I just found out. Completely devastated for my pregnant NYC friends). I knew now I had to find a South Florida Pregnancy spa.
It was a Destination Maternity complex that included two stores, a fitness studio and a spa. A one-stop shop if you will for anything pregnancy-related. When I was in early labor with #dailybabyavery in NYC, I had a unique moment of beauty clarity. I decided to walk over to the nearest blow dry bar to get my hair done, so I wouldn’t have to worry about turning into a grease ball during my hospital stay. Granted, that was the least of my worries when it came to my childbirth experience, but don’t judge!
