After one of the most challenging couple of years ever, fall weather and Halloween fun will make everything better, right? At least that’s what I keep telling myself. Sigh…

I couldn’t believe it when my photographer, Sweet Memories, reminded me about our annual cousins costume photo shoot. How was it already time for another one? The pictures turned out so cute though! I love this movie…

My daughter Avery came up with this year’s “Toy Story” theme featuring herself (Bo Peep) and her cousin Aden (Woody)! The theme has also conveniently allowed me to be a little “punnier” than usual in this post. Because aside from adorable costumes and pumpkin EVERYTHING, the fall season also brings up a somewhat serious topic for our kids: Saving early for college.

That’s right; this mama isn’t playing around when it comes to her daughter’s future. And, I’m not toying with our college savings either. It’s way too important.

As a proud member of Florida Prepaid for more than three years now, my husband and I sleep better at night knowing that our investment is completely secure and risk-free. With a Florida Prepaid Plan, you never have to worry about the ups and downs of the stock market or future college costs–that’s on them! And the best part is you can get started NOW!

Are Florida parents really buying these plans? YES!

FUN FACT: During the past 30+ years, more than one million families have chosen Florida Prepaid as their college savings partner, making them the largest, most successful Prepaid Program in the nation!

In case you aren’t familiar, Florida Prepaid offers flexible prepaid college savings plans that give state residents the options to set aside finances for their child’s higher education as soon as he or she is born. This includes the future cost of college tuition, specified fees and even dormitory housing.

What happens when my child graduates high school?

When your child is finally ready for college, the plan will cover the tuition and most fees at any Florida College or State University…regardless of any future increases! Your Florida Prepaid plan value can also be applied to the cost of college outside of Florida if your child(ren) decide to go to school in another state. Or, they can even save the money for graduate school.
