When I say TAX, you say FREE! Tax-FREE, Tax-FREE! That’s right, our favorite shopping weekend as parents (and honestly, mommy fashionistas) is coming up fast. The Florida sales tax holiday is something I look forward to every year! And, the 5-day sales tax break is running a little longer than usual beginning on Friday, August 2nd and going through Tuesday, August 6th (2019).
Mark your calendars! On Saturday, August 3rd from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., you and your family can enjoy live music, crafts, games and much more while you shop for Back-To-School!
So here’s the deal…
During the Florida sales tax holiday, certain items are exempt from sales tax including:
School supplies selling for $15 or less per item
Clothing, footwear, and certain accessories selling for $60 or less per item
Computers and certain accessories selling for $1,000 or less per item, when purchased for noncommercial or personal use
Count me in for it all! And, the perfect place to shop for clothing, uniforms, backpacks, lunch boxes and more during the Florida sales tax holiday 2019 is the Palm Beach Outlets.
#dailybocaavery and I had so much fun checking out all the soon-to-be tax-free merchandise at stores like The Children’s Place, Osh Kosh and Gap for uniforms. This Boca mom loves to save!
Teachers and school administrators like myself will find amazing options to wear during the academic year ahead at Ann Taylor and LOFT.
Avery and I also browsed backpacks at Kipling and Vera Bradley…
And, we loved the lunchbox and after school clothing options at Justice. Why wasn’t there all this cute stuff when I was a kid?
In addition to the Florida sales tax holiday 2019, we were thrilled to learn that Stuart Weitzman just opened up a store at Palm Beach Outlets. A mom sure loves her shoes!
And guess what else is coming?!? Kate Spade and Coach!
We can’t wait to visit those stores once they open. Palm Beach Outlets pretty much has it all! Get ready for Back-to-School this year at this one stop shop (pun intended) and save BIG!
