ANNIE is Playing in Boca Raton at The Wick Theatre

Just thinkin’ about…tomorrow! Well, actually November 29th at The Wick. Because Annie coming to Boca Raton (yes, THAT ANNIE) is something pretty exciting for our little theater-obsessed family. And if you haven’t visited The Wick theater yet, you are missing out!

This musical couldn’t arrive in our town at a more perfect time since children’s theater, Showtime Boca Raton, is also putting on an Annie Kidz on Stage program starting in December. Children ages 3-4 and 5-7 can learn songs from the production every Saturday starting December 8th (2018) with a big group performance to come later this winter. You better believe #dailybocaavery is already signed up for Kidz on Stage! Who has a curly red wig and dress we can borrow?

Annie Coming to Boca Raton…

But back to Annie coming to Boca Raton… Fun for the entire family, the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit features a terrific score and tells the heartwarming tale of Little Orphan Annie, who stole the heart of a lonely millionaire. Classic songs performed with a live orchestra include “Tomorrow,” “Easy Street,” “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” and “You’re Never Fully Dressed without a Smile.” It also stars starring Emmy Award-winning actress Sally Struthers as Miss Hannigan!

Sally Struthers catapulted to fame with her iconic portrayal of Gloria Bunker Stivic on the long-running Norman Lear situation comedy All in the Family. She garnered five Primetime Emmy nominations and two Emmy wins, as well as four Golden Globe nominations. Ms. Struthers also recently appeared in the reboot of the CW network’s popular Gilmore Girls.
