This Program is Looking For the Next Great Local, Teenage ‘Changemaker’!

The Palm Beach Philanthropy Tank program, now in its 4th year, is looking to empower CHANGEmakers! Beginning on August 1st, students who live in Palm Beach County or who are enrolled in 8th-12th grade within the county, can apply to become 2018-19 Finalists. The main goal of Philanthropy Tank is to help shape students’ leadership paths. And, through their creative solutions, address and improve social issues in our community. I love this!

Philanthropy Tank Program

The Philanthropy Tank program works to fuel and inspire Palm Beach County’s next generation of change leaders. The program challenges, empowers and equips students to develop and execute sustainable initiatives and solutions to problems. Philanthropist-Investors fund student initiatives, investing in their community projects. Through one-to-one mentoring, these philanthropist-investors also fuel students’ desire! This helps them execute their plans while helping to increase their ability to make meaningful change.

Who are they helping?

Students involved in the program are making an impact in the health & human services, education & youth development, women & girls and community development sectors.

To date, what has the Philanthropy Tank program accomplished?
  • Generated more than $300,000 in grants for 57 student entrepreneurs for 26 projects
  • Inspired more than 500 students to get in clubs that support Philanthropy Tank programs (many of them in the Boca Raton area)
  • Impacted more than 200,000 people in our community
