The cold hard truth? Work doesn’t stop even though it’s winter break. Adulting really stinks sometimes. While it’s certainly frustrating to us parents that not every employer can afford to let us take off for two weeks of uninterrupted family time. It’s probably even more annoying for our kids. They want to stay busy. They want to have FUN with their friends! Why not sign them up for Winter Break Camp at South Palm Beach County YMCA locations: Boca Raton or Boynton Beach?
Winter Break Camp at South Palm Beach County YMCA DATES: December 26-29 and January 2-5.
At this Winter Break camp, your child can swim, participate in games, arts & crafts and and play with their classmates in a safe and supervised atmosphere while you are (sadly) at work. Let them take their pick between Traditional (Boca & Boynton locations), Sports, Aquatics and Special Needs Camp (Boca Raton location only).
Grades K-5 Camp TIMES: Traditional/Special Needs Camp runs from 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Specialty Camp runs from: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Boca also has AM and PM extended care (for an additional fee) for those who choose the specialty camps, but need to drop the kids off sooner and pick them up later. Drop off is available as early as 7:30 a.m. and pick up by 6:00 p.m., perfect for those parents who have to work for a living. 😉
