When you hear the words SNOW and SOUTH FLORIDA in the same sentence…heck, the same context, you know there must be some holiday magic hard at work. That’s definitely the case at Sugar Sand Park this year! On Saturday, December 16 (2017) from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., children ages 5 to 12 are invited to play in 25 tons of “real” snow at the 7th annual Boca Raton Snow Day: Piles of Smiles event!
MBMOM TIP: Reservations are REQUIRED for this Boca Raton snow day. Be sure to stop by the Willow Theatre Box Office or go online to reserve your child’s time to play in the snow. Space is limited.
The cost for the event is $12 per child, $15 beginning December 4th. It also includes access to all of the other “cool” winter activities. Get it? As for grownups, the fee includes one adult event admission with each paid child’s wristband. Each additional adult admission is $5.
In addition to snow, Piles of Smiles at Sugar Sand Park will feature giant slides, bounce houses, make & takes, a sock skating rink, winter characters and more! Rides & activities are for children only, with a paid wristband. Food vendors will also be onsite in case your kids work up an appetite from all that winter play.
MBMOM TIP: Remember to pack winter gloves for your child to play in the snow! And, bring clean, dry socks for the skating rink!
Returning to the event in 2017 will be the Florida Panthers hockey team’s “Panther Patrol.” Local kids can test their skills in the Slapshot Cage. Families will also have a chance to win tickets to a Panthers’ hockey game or upcoming show at the BB&T Center. What a perfect present to put under the Christmas tree!
Will we see you at Sugar Sand Park on December 16th?
