Tell us a little bit about yourself and your professional background…
I aspire to document life with my love for creating powerful images. Loving and empowering people and the passion for photography is always at the heart of my work and it’s this very passion that drives and inspires me.
I feel so grateful to do what I “love” as my profession…to be creative, capture emotion and document the world from a different perspective. At the age of 15, I began my career in Portrait Photography and knew I had found my purpose. Not sure if it was possible to create a life for myself with my passion as a Professional Photographer, I continued onto college. With a degree in Graphic Design, my artistic and technical ability is fully developed and apparent in the Fine Art Photography I am now well known for. Having a photography business could be a hectic experience, so it helps to have something like an invoice template to help you to keep on top of clients.
With working full time at Olivia Womack Photography for 8 years and having systems and structures figured out, after I had my first son in 2012, I had to restructure.
How was I going to be a mom AND business owner?
I utilized my time wisely, spending 4 days a week where I needed to be: behind the camera. After hiring a studio manager to run the daily operations and client correspondence, I was able to work part time and be a mommy. Truly having the best of both worlds!
I recently relocated to Florida from Arizona, now with two little boys. My current challenge is starting my business from the ground up (again) and getting my name known here.
Now having a family/children of my own, my love and passion is driven even more. I truly want to capture life moments that will be cherished for a lifetime and passed down as heirlooms for generations to further enjoy. Whether it is a Wedding, Maternity Portraits, Children Portraits or even Boudoir Portraits, the beauty of life at the moment is captured; a moment that is now gone and details that will fade. But with portraits, those details and beautiful moments can be re-lived.
I am a storyteller of life’s beautiful moments in time.
Why did you start your own business?
It all started in 2004 at the age of 24. After working as a professional photographer and graphic artist for almost 10 years for other people, I had a drive within me to do this on my own! With photography being a “luxury item,” not a necessity, I knew an investment in business education would be imperative as an artist.

What exciting things are coming up for Olivia Womack Photography?
Starting OWP in Arizona in 2004 and relocating to Florida. Becoming bicoastal to serve my clientele, expanding from Arizona to Florida, and even beyond. Looking forward to destination weddings and portrait sessions.
What do you LOVE about living in South Florida?
I love living in South Florida with its beautiful weather and many activities it offers. Coming from an active outdoor lifestyle in Arizona, that was something of importance in a location for raising our boys. We sure have found much serenity and happiness becoming “beach bums”.
As for working in South Florida, I love and find beauty in all locations that are here to use as a backdrop for a portrait session. One thing that I now love having is beautiful historic architecture to make part of my portraits. Florida has cultural diversity, which offers a lot of potential for me to photograph all of its uniqueness and beauty.
