CARVEL!

I’m an August birthday and each year as a kid, without fail, my parents would throw me a pool party…with a Carvel ice cream cake.

It was tradition. It was anticipated. It was delicious.

Now with hot weather AND graduation season up on us, you can make your own grad’s celebration a little sweeter (and cooler) with a custom Carvel cake. Check out Modern FL Mom’s Graduation Pinterest board below for some fun and easy party ideas!

I’ve been lucky enough to have the same best friend since I was 2. We graduated kindergarten through high school together (proof from 1986 below) and now HER own daughter is graduating Pre-K this spring.

I couldn’t resist surprising her with a Carvel Graduation cake…and some flying saucers (with sprinkles of course). 🙂

Whether it’s an Easter celebration or a back-to-school social, Carvel offers cakes to fit any occasion. Customers also have the option to custom order their favorite Carvel combinations, which can be conveniently ordered online using the online ordering system (which is what I did) and picked up at the guest’s preferred Carvel Shoppe (East Boca location: 255 Spanish River Boulevard/561-394-0411).

Carvel requires a 48 hour advance notice for personalized cakes, since ice cream cakes and novelties are handmade in each shoppe daily.

Since its founding in 1934, the Carvel brand has expanded its menu to include an extensive line of fresh scooped and soft serve ice cream, take-home novelty treats and premium ice cream cakes. All Carvel treats are handcrafted at local Carvel Shoppes daily and are made with only authentic soft serve ice cream.
